INSPIRATION: My love of animals inspires all my paintings. The driving force behind every decision I make is to tell the animals story, when I discovered that blue tits mate for life and share the work load of raising their young I simply had to capture that love and joy on canvas. I wanted to create two paintings that could either stand alone or come together as a pair. The colours in the acrylic background compliment each other and goes a long way to show how these are a match made in heaven. While the use of soft pastels brings the birds to life and truly celebrates the wonderful colours found on these beautiful birds with a little bit of artistic license at play.
