INSPIRATION: I saw this little owl at London zoo and I was instantly struck by how small and cute it was. He didn’t seem to notice me though, he was too busy watching another owl in the enclosure. His little face was titled upward and his eyes were wide with curiosity, maybe trying to understand what his friend was up to. I felt drawn in, not just by how adorable he looked but by the sense of wonder in his eyes, I simply had to paint him.
