Changes To Terms & Conditions
Anne Bardsley Art reserves the right to update the website and these Terms & Conditions at any time and without notice. It’s your responsibility to keep up to date with these Terms and upon placing an order of any kind it will be taken to mean that you have read and agree to any changes.
Website Access
While I aim to keep the website accessible at all times, occasional downtime may occur due to maintenance or technical issues. I’ll work to resolve any interruptions as quickly as possible.
Production Information
All limited edition giclée prints are created by myself in UK and printed to order. Colours may vary slightly from what you see online due to screen settings. I take care to ensure product descriptions and images are accurate, but I cannot be held responsible for minor errors.
Commissions Terms & Conditions
Quote for Custom Artwork
To request a commission, please contact me either using the website contact form or via email (annebardsleyart@gmail.com). Let me know which of my styles you’d like, your preferred size, and any ideas you have. You’ll need to send clear, well lit photos of your pet that show accurate colouring. If you’re unsure which photo to use, you’re welcome to send several. Once we’ve discussed your requirements, I’ll provide a quote.
Deposit
If you’re happy with the quote, a 50% non refundable deposit is required to begin. This covers initial design work, materials, and time invested. It also protects against losses if you choose not to proceed with the final payment. I’ll give you an estimated completion date — commissions can take up to six weeks depending on complexity.
Approval of Artwork
Throughout the process, I’ll send progress photos for your feedback. These may include early sketches showing layout and background. I aim to keep you involved at every stage, so please let me know if anything needs adjusting. When the piece is complete, I’ll send final images for approval. Your quote includes one reasonable revision, such as minor detailing. If you’re still not satisfied after that, you won’t be asked to pay the remaining balance.
Final Payment
Once approved, I’ll send an invoice for the remaining balance. Please pay promptly to avoid delivery delays. Your artwork will be sent once payment is received, either via Royal Mail 2nd Class Recorded or a 48-hour tracked courier, depending on size.
Copyright Information
All copyrights remain with the artist. By commissioning a piece, you agree that your reference photos may be used to create the artwork. Copyright does not transfer with the sale.
Extra Information
I love sharing completed commissions on my website and social media. If you’d prefer your piece not to be shared publicly, just let me know and I’ll respect your wishes.
Returns and Refunds
Unfortunately commissioned artwork isn’t eligible for a refund. Please see the returns and refunds page for more details.
