Quote For Custom Artwork

Contact me either using the website contact form or via email (annebardsleyart@gmail.com) to discuss what you’d like creating. Please indicate which of my styles you’d prefer me to use for your artwork and your size requirements. You’ll need to send me good quality photos of your pet at this point so I can establish if I can work from them. All photos should be in well lit conditions, clear and gives an accurate representation of colouring, you can provide several photos for me to work from if you’re unsure which one to use. After discussing your requirements I’ll send you a quote for the work.

Deposit

Once you’ve received your quote and agreed for the work to be carried out please pay the non refundable deposit of 50%. The deposit covers the time to create initial mockup designs for approval and any materials used, it will also cover any losses if you’re not satisfied with the final piece and don’t pay the remaining balance. I’ll provide you with an estimated completion date, commissions can take up to 6 weeks to complete so please bear this in mind when agreeing for work to be done.

Approval Of Artwork

You’ll be sent several photos of the work in progress for your approval depending on the artistic style you’ve chosen. These can include initial mock up sketches which will give you an idea of the animals position on the canvas and background colour and design. I aim to send you as many updates as possible so you’re involved in every step of the process so if you’re not happy with anything then please let me know. When the final piece is complete I’ll send you photos for your final approval, at this point you should be fully aware of how your final piece will look and you’ll be happy with it, if for whatever reason you’re not then your initial quote includes one reasonable alteration which includes additional minor detailing if required. If after that alteration you’re still not satisfied then you won’t be required to make the final balance payment.

Final Payment

Once you’re happy with the final artwork then you’ll be sent an invoice for the remaining balance which should be paid promptly to avoid delays in delivery. I’ll send the artwork when the payment’s been received and depending on the size of the piece it will either be sent via Royal Mail 2nd class recorded delivery or a 48hr tracked courier service.
