TITLE: Do Elephants Eat Chocolate?
YEAR: 2024
INSPIRATION: During a visit to Blackpool zoo I was lucky enough to witness feeding time in the elephant house, I captured many unique moments but there was something about this particular elephant that stood out. While the majority of the elephants used tree trunks to help them reach higher up towards their meal, this one used its trunk and snaffled the straw strewn floor. I imagined that there was hidden treasures that the others weren’t aware of. It walked in a determined line munching as it went, and I couldn’t help but recreate this moment as if it were following a line of chocolates, leading it towards an even more rewarding snack at the end.
