INSPIRATION: The driving force behind each decision is always the same, to tell the animal’s story. When I discovered that blue tits mate for life and share the workload of raising their young, I knew I had to capture that love and joy on canvas. I created two paintings that can stand alone or come together as a pair. The acrylic backgrounds complement each other beautifully, hinting at a bond that feels like a match made in heaven. Soft pastels bring the birds to life and celebrate the vibrant colours found in these beautiful creatures, with a little artistic licence, of course.
