INSPIRATION: Have you ever felt like you’re being stalked by a tiger? No, just me? On a visit to Edinburgh Zoo we stumbled across quite simply the most beautiful tiger I’ve ever seen. It was close to feeding time and while he was waiting for his lunch he paced up and down in anticipation, we watched in awe as his body moved with a grace and elegance I’ve never seen before. As he turned back around his eyes met ours, he walked from behind the bushes towards us and in that moment I felt what it would be like to be his prey. The shear power behind his stare was definitely something to behold and if I’ve managed to get even a 10th of that down on the canvas then I’ve achieved my goal.
