INSPIRATION: This painting is based on a blue crane I met while visiting Blackpool zoo, I’ve never seen one of these birds before and I was instantly captivated by its unique look. The blue crane is the national bird of South Africa and it’s also known as the Stanley crane, this beautiful bird is seen by some tribes as a symbol of bravery, so I’ve given this bird the title it truly deserves.
