INSPIRATION: This piece was inspired by a bold little squirrel I saw in London. He stood with a defiant pose, looking up with an air of expectation, as if he had something important to say. There was a real confidence in his stance that made me stop and wonder what story had led him to be so fearless. That moment stuck with me and I knew I had to paint him. He may be small but he carries himself with a kind of swagger that demands attention.
