TITLE: Fancy A Cuppa?

INSPIRATION: I always get excited when I’m able to get a good reference photo, and when I visited a local farm and I saw the way this goat was standing I couldn’t take the photo fast enough. When I started sketching this up I just knew that I had to balance something on his bum, so I ran through a few different ideas but as nation of tea drinkers it felt weirdly natural to just rest a teacup on him. I’ve put him against a bold green background to echo the beautiful natural surrounding that this goat was striking a pose in. This painting truly champions each animals individual character and this little goat is no different, he really did stand out from the crowd and deserves to have an oil dedicated to him.
